Four-man pop-rock band CNBlue continues on the successful trail of concerts for their “2013 Blue Moon World Tour.” Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin just wrapped their one-night-only performance in Beijing, the ninth stop of the concert series.
China’s capital was painted in blue on Saturday, June 29, for the group’s first concert in the city. Local news agencies quoted a statement of CNBlue’s management agency, FNC Entertainment, saying, “CNBlue filled up the Capital Gymnasium in Beijing with 8,000 fans.”
As with the earlier legs of the tour, CNBlue opened with “Where You Are,” proceeding to “Get Away” and “One Time” to start the continuous two-hour show without losing their powerful stage presence. Fans responded enthusiastically by waving the band’s signature blue light stick.
CNBlue interacted with the audience in English and Mandarin, which earned them the attention and affection of the crowd. It also helped create a friendly atmosphere.
CNBlue’s “2013 Blue Moon World Tour in Beijing” marks the band’s first solo concert in China since debuting in 2010.
In the meantime, the group will release another single in Japan, “Lady” on July 31 before heading on to the next stop of the “2013 Blue Moon World Tour,” to be held on August 24 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
